Cardigan amateur boxing club had twin cause for celebration last week when two schoolboy fighters reached the semi-finals of the Welsh Schoolboy Championships with victories in Swansea.
Cardigan's Ben Rhys Davies proved too strong for Gwent ABC's Sion Lewis who was pulled out by his corner after two rounds, while John Lumb of St Dogmaels outpointed John Ashplant (Premier ABC).
