Cardigan town centre is currently "being menaced by mindless vandals", according to police.
Public toilets have again been the target in the latest wave of vandalism to his the town. Council workers are constantly finding damage to the toilets.
Police pinpoint the problem to a group of local youths congregating around the Chancery Lane public toilets during early evening.
The police statement says: "We are aware of the problem and enhanced patrols are being carried out." The officer in charge of police the Cardigan area, Inspector Alfor Evans said: "We are anxious to nip this senseless behaviour in the bud."
Vandals have already caused the public conveniences in Llandysul to close in the early evening. Local member Cllr Keith Evans said: "It is the only solution to the on-going problem."
