The Queen's Hall Gallery, Narberth is back in the limelight in 2003 with three new exhibitions by some of the leading names in contemporary Welsh art.
A show by Michael Freeman and the Friday Group will culminate with a talk by the artist on his work. The Friday Group was formed in 2000 by a group of painters all from different professional backgrounds who met in Port Talbot every Friday. Michael Freeman's talk takes place on Saturday February 22 at 2pm (entrance fee £2 and £1 for members).
The second show takes place in the Cafe Ole and comprises an exhibition of mixed prints by various artists including Sally Hargreaves, Madeline Addyman, Maggie Goff, Martin White and Geoff Yeomans. From here the exhibition continues up the stairs with some of the vast collection of photographs by the late Max Fairbrother who died in 2001.
