Given that Cardigan is by far the best-supported club in division three of the WRU structure, it was hardly surprising that 165 players and guests attended the annual presentation dinner at the Cliff Hotel on Saturday.
Guest speaker was a former club hooker, retired local veterinary surgeon Richard (Dick the Vet) Thomas, who was well-received, and among the guests was mayor Cllr Lynda Grace, accompanied by her consort husband David.
Referring to the exceptional following enjoyed by the club, inspirational skipper Barry John on behalf of the players thanked supporters for their loyalty, and sponsors for their continued generosity. The duties of MC were carried out with aplomb by long serving club secretary Graham 'Trim' Rees, and entertainment provided by the Dhogie Band.
